I am a big picture thinker interested in the composition of silhouettes, colors, patterns, and textures. She has always really loved clothing. I grew up with four sisters whose different voices, body types, and styles continually influence me to think critically about how clothing should be designed. My sisters, mother, and closest girlfriends are constantly on her mind when I am designing and creating clothing.
Striving to make pieces that are approachable, artistic, and modern, I love studying how powerful the messages we send with our clothing can be.
I have my degree in Apparel Design from the University of Minnesota I have four years of experience researching and designing for underrepresented markets including culturally appropriate active-wear, aging women, post-maternity mothers, and plus-size junior girls.
