I designed, patterned, and sewed a mini-line of functional knitwear for mothers who are experiencing the psychological and physical chaos of having a baby. For patterns and silhouettes I was inspired by the interiors designed by Ilse Crawford. For functionality, I provided convenient access to a woman's breasts for breast feeding, as well as wide waistbands and attached belts to allow the woman to conceal or define her waist as she chooses.
